Daniel Durning learns during this discussion. Fresh from his curatorial
debut at Bitforms Gallery in New York,
Rees speaks of the aesthetics of "Cybernetic
Totalists," the evolution of the Sculptural
User Interface, and the continuation of his "Monster" series in "Michael
Rees: Large and Moving," an exhibition of sculpture and sound art running
from September 19 to January 2 at the Aldrich
Contemporary Art Museum.
